If you are trying to stay sober and change your life, I need you to understand this concept of Sponsorship – or Coaching.

Do you feel a little weird about getting a sponsor or having a hard time finding a reliable sponsor?

Maybe you have no idea what it is and don’t know if you actually need one.

This episode is all about sponsorship for those in 12-Step programs, and Coaching for those who aren’t,  because the concepts are the same.

A Coach guides you in a process just like a sponsor guides you in 12 step programs.

I also like to highlight the similarities in these concepts because I consider my sponsor my very first Coach.

And, for the record, I was weird about a sponsor at first, too.

I didn’t really understand it or understand it’s value and, like a good alcoholic, I thought I could figure it out on my own.

Looking back, I wish I would have done it sooner because it was really fun to have someone in my corner and to have that person to ask questions about things I didn’t understand.

I’m going to cover 6 super smart insights to understand sponsorship from the inside out – the things I learned along the way, over the course of YEARS – and I’m sharing it all here with you so that you have all the answers I had to learn the hard way!

We’re going to cover:

  • What a sponsor does
  • Why you need one
  • Where you get one
  • What to look for
  • How it works
  • Things to consider

This is your all-in-one cheat sheet for all the questions you didn’t even know you had about working with a sponsor, or a Coach.
